Cervinia

Cervinia is an alpine resort in the Aosta Valley, region of northwest of Italy. Cervinia being one of Europe’s highest ski resorts it’a a famous tourist attraction all year round.

The resort lies at 2500 m (6.,581ft) above sea level, at the foot of the Matterhorn, in a valley surrounded by high, glaciated mountains and the sheer rock face of the Jumeaux. It shares a ski area with Zermatt in Switzerland, connected through the Plateau Rosa glacier.

Cervinia ski resort reaching 3900 m allows the winter season to start from the beginning of November until May.

Cervinia is famous even in summer season. during the few warm months it’s a world point of interest for ski on grass and climbing/trekking.

The resort even offers the highest golf course of Europe known for his 18 holes at 2050 m.
